Two ejected, one killed in Tooele County rollover crash
One driver was killed after being ejected in a rollover crash off State Route 36 in Tooele County. A vehicle was traveling north near Vernon on Thursday night when it began swerving off the road, according to officials with the Utah Department of Public Safety. Witnesses in a nearby ambulance reported seeing the car leave the roadway and return, nearly hitting them. They said the vehicle then drove off the roadway a second time and rolled. The driver, identified as Dave T. Wolf, 69, was declared dead at the scene. Officials said Wolf was from Riverton, Utah. The passenger had minor injuries and was not identified. Officials said they are investigating alcohol as a possible factor in the crash. ___
