Two critically injured in multi-vehicle crash on I-240 at Poplar
UPDATE: According to the Memphis Police Dept., all lanes of traffic on I-240 and Walnut Grove going eastbound are shut down until further notice due to an investigation. MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Two people were critically injured after a multi-vehicle crash that left a vehicle overturned on I-240 at Poplar Thursday morning, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT). Officers say they responded to the accident around 11:19 a.m. A man and a woman were taken to a hospital in critical condition. TDOT's cameras show traffic backed up due to the accident. TDOT says all eastbound lanes are blocked, including the entry ramp and the left and right shoulder lanes.
