Two brothers killed in crash in Marion County
Two brothers died in a crash early Wednesday morning in Marion County, Brilliant police said. Authorities said the accident happened around 2 a.m. on County Road 36 within the city limits of Brilliant. Investigators said three people were inside a Toyota 4Runner when it left the roadway and crashed. Police said no pursuit was underway at the time of the crash. A 17-year-old Brilliant High School senior and his 20-year-old brother were killed in the accident. An 18-year-old passenger was taken to UAB Hospital, and their condition is unknown at this time.
