Two 16-year-olds arrested in connection with deadly Birmingham shooting

Video above: Previous coverageBirmingham police have arrested two 16-year-old boys in connection with the deadly shooting of a man in the Ensley area.Police say that officers with the Birmingham Police Department’s Crime Reduction Team took the suspects into custody on Wednesday, one day after 20-year-old Carlton Duncan was found dead following reports of a car crash on 29th Street Ensley.When officers arrived at the scene, they found Duncan unresponsive inside an overturned vehicle, as well as a second vehicle involved in the crash that was unoccupied and parked.>> YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD: Community coverage from WVTM 13The Jefferson County Coroner's Office later determined that he had been shot.One of the 16-year-olds is charged with capital murder and certain persons forbidden to possess a firearm, and the other is charged with felony murder and the same firearm offense.
