Tulsa Police responding to deadly crash on Gilcrease Expressway
TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Police Department said they're responding to a deadly crash that occurred on the Gilcrease Expressway near the Lewis Avenue exit. According to authorities, a Toyota SUV was driving eastbound on the Gilcrease Expressway when it went off the road for an unknown reason. Police said the car then struck an overpass sign at high speed and burst into flames. First responders said both people inside the SUV, one adult and a child, died in the crash. The Tulsa Police Department said they're currently working on identifying the victims in the crash.
