Tragic Frisco sledding accident claims teen's life, leaves another in critical condition, per police

A tragic sledding accident involving teenagers occurred in Frisco on Sunday afternoon, resulting in the death of one 16-year-old girl and leaving another in critical condition. According to the Frisco Police Department, the incident took place near Majestic Gardens Drive and Killian Court. Emergency responders found the two girls with life-threatening injuries and provided immediate medical assistance. An investigation revealed that a 16-year-old boy was driving a Jeep Wrangler while pulling the girls on a sled. Witnesses reported that the sled hit a curb and crashed into a tree, leading to the tragic outcome. The two girls were rushed to the hospital, where one sadly passed away, and the other remains in critical condition. Due to their age, the victims have not been identified by the Frisco PD. The investigation is ongoing, with cooperation from the Denton County District Attorney's Office.
