Tragic Fatal Crash Involving RV and SUV in Florida
Tragically, a second child, a newborn, has passed away as a result of a devastating incident involving an SUV and an RV in Marion County over the weekend, as reported by the Florida Highway Patrol. The collision occurred early Saturday morning on US Highway 27 and County Road 316, when a Chevrolet Tahoe collided with the RV carrying 15 individuals, causing it to overturn. The 25-year-old pregnant woman driving the Tahoe was rushed to the hospital after the crash, where she gave birth to the baby who later succumbed to the injuries. The crash, which happened on Saturday, December 27, 2025, involved an RV and a Chevy Tahoe, with the Tahoe veering off the roadway before colliding with the RV on US Highway 27. While a 5-year-old child tragically lost their life in the RV, the others sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The cause of the collision is still being investigated by the Florida Highway Patrol.
