Tragic death of 2-year-old girl in Fresno County collision

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that the crash took place at the intersection of Walnut Avenue and Jefferson Avenue, outside Easton. A Honda Civic collided with a Chevrolet Tahoe, resulting in a "violent collision." Both the 2-year-old girl and the 28-year-old woman traveling in the Honda Civic passed away due to the crash. The investigation is ongoing, and the identities of the individuals involved have not been disclosed. The CHP noted that neither the 28-year-old woman nor the 2-year-old were wearing seat belts, and the child was also not in a car seat, while the occupants of the Chevrolet Tahoe, two teenage boys, sustained minor injuries as they were wearing seat belts.
