The accident, involving a white Toyota Camry, took place around 6 p.m. near the intersection of Pershing Drive and Manchester Avenue. The woman and her 3-year-old child were hit by the car, with the child sustaining injuries but the mother unfortunately passing away. The driver, an elderly man, stayed at the scene, as shared by Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson Charles Miller. The devastating news was reported by journalist Chris Cillizza, a close friend of the family, who witnessed the tragic event. The family has identified the victim as 36-year-old Regan Cole-Graham, who was also seven months pregnant with a girl. The family's unborn baby girl was taken to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit but sadly did not survive.
