Tragic accident, ex-Whitefish Bay vice principal receives sentence
The ex-associate principal of Whitefish Bay who was responsible for a fatal accident due to driving drunk has been sentenced. Rebecca Salomon received a six-year prison term along with three years of extended supervision. She had pleaded no contest to homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle in Washington County in December 2024. The incident occurred near County Trunk P and County Trunk NN in West Bend. Salomon apologized to both the victim's family and her own prior to the sentencing. The Washington County Sheriff's Office reported that Salomon caused the accident by failing to yield at an intersection, resulting in the death of the other driver who sustained serious injuries. Salomon's blood alcohol content was measured at 0.109 during a sobriety test, exceeding the legal limit.
