Traffic halted on I-40 at Chelsea Avenue after multi-vehicle crash
MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Traffic is backed up on Interstate 40 at Chelsea Avenue on the westbound side following a multi-vehicle crash Tuesday morning. According to TDOT's traffic cameras, it shows police at the scene, a white vehicle in the shoulder lane appearing to have severe front-end damage, and traffic backed up. TDOT reported that the westbound right lane is currently blocked. Memphis Police say no one was injured as a result of the wreck. At this time, it is still unclear how it happened.
