Traffic delay on westbound I-4 in Dover after fatal crash
A deadly accident on I-4 in Dover is currently impacting traffic flow into Tampa. The incident, which occurred near Branch Forbes Road, was originally reported at 10:50 am on Saturday. One westbound lane remains closed following a two-hour blockage earlier. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash was a result of a 54-year-old Apopka man experiencing a medical emergency while driving an SUV. The vehicle veered off the road, flipped over, and landed in the trees. The man was transported to a nearby hospital and sadly passed away.
