WEBER COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — Northbound I-15 was completely closed due to an eight-vehicle crash near Milepost 340, south of the I-84 interchange. While the closure lasted for several hours, it has since reopened. According to Corporal Wright, with Utah Highway Patrol, the freeway was closed due to a crash that involved eight separate vehicles. Some individuals were transported by ambulance, but their injuries are currently unknown. Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) reported that the crash was blocking all lanes, leading to significant delays. UDOT's initial estimates stated that the road will be closed until 4:59 p.m., but they then updated to an unknown time of clearance. As of 7:30 p.m. on June 5, the road has now fully reopened. At this time, officials have not released any additional information. However, travelers should seek alternative routes and expect major delays.
