Traffic Alert: Multi-vehicle crash closes C.R. 6 from Emerson Drive to C.R. 7
Police responded to a multi-vehicle crash on County Road 6 and Emerson Drive in Elkhart on Wednesday. Officers and first responders arrived at the crash with injuries near 175 County Road 6 around 12:30 p.m. According to an initial investigation, an SUV was traveling westbound on County Road 6 when it crossed the center line and struck a Ford Escape, traveling eastbound. The Escape spun out and struck a third vehicle. Two people in the Ford Escape were transported to the hospital for evaluation and treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
