TRAFFIC ALERT: I-480 West stopped after vehicle fire
VALLEY VIEW, Ohio (WJW) -- The local lanes of Interstate 480 West closed just past Transportation Boulevard and the Valley View bridge after a vehicle crashed and caught fire. It happened just before 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, reported FOX 8's Patty Harken. Traffic started moving normally just before 9:30 a.m. Smoke could be seen rising from the interstate. The fire was contained, but the blockage remained, reported Harken. The I-480 West express lanes appeared to be moving just after 9 a.m. The scene was cleared just before 9:30 a.m.
