Traffic accident causes road closures in Millcreek
MILLCREEK, Utah (ABC4) — Road closures are in place due to a traffic accident at 3300 S. and 2400 East in Millcreek. According to Unified Police, at approximately 1:34 p.m., a vehicle crashed into a power pole, which then, subsequently, fell onto the road. According to a social media post from Unified Police, eastbound traffic is being diverted at 2300 E. and westbound traffic is being diverted at 2700 E. The driver of the vehicle, an adult female, was evaluated on scene, and sustained minor injuries. Unified is requesting that drivers avoid the area and use alternate routes to avoid delays. Emergency crews and Rocky Mountain Power are on scene. Unified Police told ABC4 that they expect Rocky Mountain Power to be on scene for several hours. Road closures will remain in place during that time. There is no further information available at this time.
