Tractor-trailer driver dies in crash on I-70 in New Market

A tractor-trailer driver died overnight in a crash on Interstate 70 in Frederick County.Maryland State Police said troopers were called around 1:46 a.m. Tuesday to westbound I-70 near the New Market exit, where a tractor-trailer crashed.The vehicle's 62-year-old driver died at the scene, police said.A preliminary investigation indicates the tractor-trailer was traveling west when it traveled off the highway and overturned.The cause of the crash is under investigation.
