Tiger Woods involved in rollover crash in Florida, reports say
(NEXSTAR) – Legendary golfer Tiger Woods was involved in a rollover crash in Jupiter Island, Florida, on Friday, according to multiple reports. As of publishing time his condition was not known. An image taken at the scene of the accident showed the vehicle on its side, Nexstar's WFLA reports. Nexstar has reached out to the Martin County Sheriff's Office for more information. ESPN reports that police are investigating the incident, which happened just after 2 p.m. ET in the town where the golfer lives. Woods, who suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon a year ago, also underwent back surgery in October, 2025. For weeks there had been speculation about whether or not the multi-time Masters winner would be healthy enough to compete in August this year. On Thursday, President Trump claimed during an interview with Fox News that "he will be there, but he won't be playing in it." Woods was involved in a serious car crash in the Palos Verdes area of California in 2021 that left him with multiple broken bones in his leg, which had to be surgically repaired.
