Three people hurt in Cooper Street collision in Springfield
Three individuals were hurt in a motor vehicle collision in Springfield on Saturday afternoon. The Springfield Fire Department was alerted to a two-car accident at the corner of Cooper Street and Sedgwick Street just after 3:20 p.m. Rescuers extricated a person trapped in one of the vehicles while two adults and a child suffered minor injuries in the incident. They were taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention. The Springfield Police Department is conducting an investigation into the accident's circumstances.
