Three-car accident under investigation in Port Leyden

PORT LEYDEN, N.Y. (WWTI)- The Lewis County Sherrif's Office is investigating a three-car accident occurred on State Route 12 just south of the Village of Port Leyden on May 11, just after 9 p.m. The incident resulted in non-life-threatening injuries to the occupants of all three vehicles and necessitated the temporary closure of a section of State Route 12 for cleanup. Due to significant damage and debris from the collision, a portion of State Route 12 was shut down for a brief period due to debris.
