Tesla crash in Nevada County leaves 1 dead, 2 injured
One individual has passed away and two others were wounded after a Tesla veered off an embankment in Nevada County on Friday evening, according to authorities. The California Highway Patrol arrived at Highway 49 near the South Yuba River Bridge where a Tesla had traveled approximately 15 feet down an embankment. CHP officers disclosed that there were three occupants in the vehicle. Sadly, one individual lost their life and two others were transported to the hospital with severe injuries. Law enforcement officials noted that speed played a role and adverse weather conditions exacerbated the situation. The road remained open despite the incident.
