Teenage boy killed in West Mifflin car accident
A tragic incident occurred on Saturday in West Mifflin, where a teenage boy, identified as Terrel Byars Jr., a 6th-grade student in the East Allegheny School District, was involved in a vehicle accident on Kennywood Boulevard. Despite being transported to an area hospital, he later succumbed to his injuries. The district announced that counseling services for grief support will be provided at Logan Elementary by Turtle Creek Valley Community Service on Monday and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with additional support available when school resumes on Jan. 5.
