ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) - A teenager was killed Monday morning in a crash in Anderson County. According to the Anderson County Coroner's Office, Anderson County 911 received a call just before 12:30 a.m. Monday of a single car crash on Five Forks Road in Pendleton. At the scene first responders found two people with unspecified injuries, as well as 16-year-old Spencer James Martin, who was pronounced dead at the scene. A preliminary investigation suggests Martin was a front seat passenger in a car driving on Five Forks Road when it went off the side of the road and hit a tree. Martin was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other people were reportedly injured in the crash. The crash remains under investigation by the coroner's office and South Carolina Highway Patrol.
