Teen in critical condition following two-car collision
A 17-year-old male is in critical condition following a collision between two vehicles on Highway 56 in Iron County, Utah. Reports from the Utah Highway Patrol indicate that the boy, driving a Ford Focus, attempted to turn left onto State Route 56 when he crossed paths with an oncoming vehicle traveling westbound. The teenager sustained severe injuries and was airlifted to a nearby hospital, while the occupants of the second car suffered minor injuries. The road was temporarily closed but has now been reopened.
