Teen dies in motorcycle accident on U.S. 1 in Brevard, authorities report
Authorities reported that a 19-year-old man from Dunnellon passed away in a motorcycle accident on U.S. Highway 1 after he lost control and hit a utility pole. The incident occurred early Sunday morning around 3:52 a.m. near Puma Valley Way. The motorcyclist was riding a Suzuki RX1000 in the southbound inside lane and struggled to navigate a left turn, reportedly exceeding the speed limit. Sadly, he veered off the road, striking a utility pole, and was subsequently taken to Cape Canaveral Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The authorities are currently investigating the crash.
