Teen dies after rollover crash on Oregon highway
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A 17-year-old boy died on Friday after crashing on Highway 82, Oregon State Police announced. The teen, who was from La Grande, crashed just after 12:30 p.m. near milepost 24 in Union County. Officials say the teen was driving a Toyota Highlander and was traveling west on the eastbound shoulder for unknown reasons. "The vehicle left the highway and rolled multiple times before the operator was ejected from the vehicle," OSP said. "The driver is not believed to have been wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash." The teen was declared dead at the scene.
