Teacher honored following deadly car crash
Following a tragic car accident in West Haven, Utah, family and friends are mourning the loss of Liandra Jean (Allen) Dittmore, 41, who was described as a shining light in the world. Dittmore, a dedicated educator and beloved member of the community, lost her life on December 14th after being involved in a collision on December 10th. In a touching gesture, Dittmore's organs were donated, providing Christmas miracles to six families. Remembered for her passion for teaching, Dittmore graduated from Weber State University in 2002 and worked at Bates Elementary for 14 years. The school community, led by Principal Dax Sederholm, has rallied together to support students and staff through this difficult time, providing counseling and assistance.
