Suspect in deadly Bell County hit-and-run located in Laredo
A suspect has been apprehended in connection with a deadly hit-and-run incident involving a tow truck driver in Bell County. The tragic crash occurred on Interstate 35 in Salado, where 57-year-old David Conrad Holz lost his life while loading a disabled vehicle onto his truck. After reviewing dash camera footage from the tow truck, authorities arrested 24-year-old Jesse G. Hernandez, Jr. of Killeen, who was located in Laredo. Hernandez was then transferred to the Webb County Jail for further processing. The investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety into this incident continues.
