Springfield scooter crash involving vehicle sends two to hospital
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Two people were taken to the hospital with injuries after a scooter and car accident on Main Street in Springfield Tuesday afternoon. Springfield Police Spokesperson Ryan Walsh told 22News that at around 1:30 p.m., officers were called to a crash involving a scooter and a car in the area of the 1000 block of Main Street. Springfield Fire Captain Drew Piemonte told 22News that two people were taken to the hospital for their injuries but are expected to recover. No further information has been released.
