Single individual injured in 21-vehicle collision on I-5 near Fife, WA
A multiple-vehicle accident occurred on Monday morning on I-5 near Fife, resulting in one person being hospitalized. The incident started with debris on the road, leading to a 10-car pileup around 5 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-5 and Emerald Street. Trooper Kameron Watts stated that the crash expanded to involve a total of 21 cars, some of which stopped due to flat tires. Only one individual required hospitalization, and there were no other reported injuries. The collision blocked three left lanes initially but were later reopened. Watts mentioned that most of the crashes were caused by vehicles hitting debris, while others involved car-to-car collisions.
