Terrifying home surveillance footage captured the moment a car crashed through a backyard wall in southern Nevada, went airborne, and ejected the driver into a private swimming pool. The incident occurred in Laughlin late on December 15 and was reported by FOX 5 Las Vegas. The driver, who was allegedly speeding, failed to stop and crashed through the concrete wall. The impact sent the vehicle rotating through the air before landing on the edge of the pool. Homeowner Cletis Reed described hearing a loud crash and finding his backyard destroyed with a woman floating in the pool. Fortunately, Reed narrowly avoided being in harm's way himself. The driver was rescued from the pool and taken to a hospital in Arizona. Reed estimated the repair costs for his damaged backyard oasis, including the contaminated pool, could reach nearly $300,000.
