Several people hurt in I-88 collision near Ashton
Several individuals sustained injuries in a crash this morning on Interstate 88 in Lee County, Illinois, between Ashton and Rochelle. The incident occurred at mile marker 71 around 9:30 a.m. Illinois State Police have reported that multiple people were hurt, with two of them being airlifted to a hospital by helicopter. Their current condition remains unknown. The westbound lane of I-88 near Ashton has been shut down as authorities conduct an investigation.
