Several individuals hurt in I-465 crash in Indianapolis
Indianapolis law enforcement reported that five children and two adults were taken to the hospital following a car accident involving a box truck on I-465. The collision took place on the northbound side near the entrance ramp from Sam Jones Expressway to I-465 southbound. Indiana State Police and local medics responded to the incident. Sgt. John Perrine later confirmed that seven individuals were injured and transported to the hospital following the crash. The road was closed for around two hours as officials towed away the vehicles and conducted an investigation. The roadway has since reopened, and Indiana State Police detectives are looking into the cause of the accident. Additional details have not yet been released.
