BRANFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Serious injuries have been reported following a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 South in Branford on Saturday afternoon. According to Connecticut State Police, the injuries are serious, but not life-threatening. Police did not comment on how many people were injured. The crash occurred at approximately 2:09 p.m. between Exits 56 and 55, closing all but one of the lanes on I-95 South, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.
