Serious injuries in Chesterfield multi-vehicle collision
In Chesterfield County, Virginia, on Saturday afternoon, a multi-vehicle accident occurred on Buford Road resulting in one person being hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. Chesterfield County Police stated that the incident happened around 3:15 p.m. at the 1300 block of Buford Road. The investigation revealed that a 2016 Honda CRV traveling south on Buford Road crossed the centerline and sideswiped a 2017 Honda Accord traveling in the opposite direction. The impact caused the 2017 Honda Accord to lose control and spin into the southbound lanes. Subsequently, a 2007 Ford F150 traveling south collided with the 2017 Honda Accord. The driver of the 2007 Ford F150 was transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.
