Serious car versus dirt bike accident lands Chazy youth in hospital
In Chazy, two young individuals were quickly taken to the hospital, with one facing life-threatening injuries, after a collision between a car and a dirt bike on Route 9 on Tuesday evening. New York State Police reported that a mini gas-powered dirt bike carrying two juveniles was heading southbound when a 1998 Buick LeSabre traveling in the same direction failed to notice the dirt bike and crashed into it, causing both juveniles to be thrown from the dirt bike. Both were transported to Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital for medical treatment, with one youth in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. The New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Collision Reconstruction Unit were called in to conduct further investigations at the scene. Local authorities and emergency services also provided assistance. The investigation is still ongoing.
