Series of morning car crashes close highway segment
As of 2:30 p.m., authorities have provided more information on the four crashes occurring at Exit 4 on State Route 690 southbound in Van Buren. The incidents involved multiple vehicles and drivers from different areas, resulting in various injuries and traffic disruptions. Law enforcement has issued citations to drivers involved in the collisions and are continuing to investigate each case. The road closure due to the accidents has now been lifted, and traffic is back to normal. State Police are still looking into the events that led to these incidents.
