Seminole man charged for leaving scene of fatal bicycle collision: FHP
A driver in Pinellas County, Florida was arrested after a hit-and-run incident resulted in the death of a bicyclist on Bay Pines Boulevard. The crash occurred around 3 a.m., and both the driver, identified as Dominic Boeing, and the bicyclist, a 64-year-old man from Naples, were traveling north on the road. Boeing attempted to pass the bicyclist in his Kia Optima but instead collided with him, fleeing the scene afterwards. The bicyclist was taken to a nearby hospital and later died. Boeing, who lives in Seminole, reported the crash to authorities from his home almost six miles away, and was subsequently arrested and charged for leaving the scene of a crash involving death. The identity of the bicyclist has not been released.
