Semi-truck fire causes closure of part of I-64 in Frankfort
Currently, all lanes heading east on I-64 near Exit 53 are closed due to a collision this morning involving a semi-truck which later ignited. The closure is expected to last for a number of hours while authorities conduct their investigation. However, the westbound lanes of I-64 are now accessible to drivers. Motorists are advised to take an alternative route at KY 151 (Exit 48), heading north on the road to US 60-Louisville Rd., and then onto US 127 as recommended by Ready Frankfort Reports.
