Semi-truck driver ejected, killed in I-84 crash in northern Utah
A semi-truck driver died after he was ejected from the vehicle in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 84 in Morgan County. The driver was traveling on I-84 near Morgan when the truck overturned just after 2 a.m. on Thursday, according to officials with the Department of Public Safety. Officials said the truck had "failed to negotiate a left-hand curve," causing it to roll on its side. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the truck. He was declared dead at the scene. The identities of the driver and passenger were not released. The truck was hauling apples, which spilled across the highway during the crash.
