Semi-truck and car collide on I-90 near Chicago, EMT injured.
Early Monday morning, a crash involving multiple vehicles occurred on the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. A semi-trailer truck rolled over onto its side, causing damage to a car that had been in a previous crash. An EMT who was tending to the driver of the first crashed car was also injured in the incident. Both the truck driver and the EMT were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. The extent of their injuries and the condition of the initial car driver were not immediately known. Following the crash, all westbound lanes of the I-90 were closed and traffic was redirected to Barrington Road. The road was reopened to traffic around 8:15 a.m.
