Search for suspect in Phoenix freeway shooting, car overturning
Phoenix Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly shot at a car on Interstate 17 near Peoria Avenue last Saturday evening. The suspect followed a car carrying two adults on the highway and fired multiple gunshots, resulting in the victims' car being involved in a collision and rolling over. Fortunately, the victims only sustained minor injuries, and the suspect fled the scene before authorities arrived. The victims' identities and the motive behind the shooting remain unknown as the investigation continues. The northbound lanes at Pinnacle Peak Road were temporarily closed for the investigation.
