Search for car in fatal hit-and-run on New Year's Day
The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking assistance from the community in identifying a hit-and-run driver who tragically killed a 23-year-old individual and critically injured a 24-year-old man last Thursday. The incident occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m. outside a bar on Hermitage Ave. The victims were on the sidewalk preparing to use a rideshare service when they were struck by a red/maroon car, believed to be a Ford Mustang, that was speeding.
