School bus accident in Muhlenberg County causes minor injuries
HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) - Officials with Muhlenberg County Public Schools report an accident involving a school bus occurred on the morning of May 8. The school system reports it is thankful to report that all middle and high school students along with the bus driver safely evacuated the bus and there have been only minor injuries reported. Officials also note additional counselors have been made available at both Muhlenberg County Middle School and Muhlenberg County High School for any students who may need assistance following the incident. A spokesperson says, "We appreciate the quick response of emergency personnel and school staff. The safety and well-being of our students and employees remains our highest priority."
