SC: Troopers investigate fatal afternoon crash in the Upstate
A crash in Spartanburg County Tuesday afternoon left one person dead, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol.Troopers said the crash happened on Jordan Road at Shelburne Lane in Lyman around 2:47 p.m.According to Highway Patrol, a 2010 Toyota attempted to turn left onto Shelburne Lane when it was struck by a 2024 Ford pickup truck.A passenger in the Toyota was taken to the hospital, where they died. The coroner's office has not yet released the identity of the victim.Troopers did not report any additional injuries.
