SC: 9-year-old killed, 3 injured in Greenville County crash

South Carolina Highway Patrol has told us what led up to a crash that left a child dead and three people injured in Greenville County on Friday morning.According to Highway Patrol, the crash happened just before 7 a.m. on West Blue Ridge Drive near Old Bramlett Road. Troopers said a 1997 Chevrolet van was turning left onto West Blue Ridge Drive when a 2004 Chevrolet Impala traveling south on West Blue Ridge Drive collided with the van. A passenger in the van died at the scene. Additionally, troopers said that the driver and another passenger in the van were injured. The driver of the Impala was injured and taken to the hospital.The Greenville County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 9-year-old Hunter Franklin Hall of Greenville.The crash remains under investigation.
