Route 20 closed in East Granby after crash damages utility pole, police say
EAST GRANBY — A crash on Route 20 on Thursday closed the state road in both directions, police say. Connecticut State Police said troopers were called to the area of Church Road and Route 20 at 2:10 p.m. for a report of a crash. They said the crash caused minor injuries. Police said both sides of Route 20 are closed for utility pole cleanup. The Connecticut Department of Transportation reported the road was still closed as of 4:42 p.m. According to Eversource's outage map, seven customers are without power in East Granby.
