Reopening of Inbound Eisenhower Expressway after deadly wrong-way crash: ISP
Authorities in Hillside, Illinois reported a fatal accident on Sunday morning on the inbound Eisenhower Expressway at Wolf Road. The incident involved a wrong-way driver and resulted in a multi-vehicle crash. One person tragically lost their life due to the collision, and others sustained injuries. The Illinois State Police responded to the scene around 4:15 a.m., closing all inbound lanes on I-290 until around 10:30 a.m. The investigation into the crash is currently ongoing.
