Remembering OSU men’s basketball plane crash 25 years later
It has been 25 years since a tragic plane crash claimed the lives of 10 individuals, including two players, basketball staff, and members of the broadcast and support team from the Oklahoma State University men's basketball program. The crash occurred on January 27, 2001, as the team was returning to Stillwater after a game at Colorado University. The university, in partnership with the OSU Department of Athletics, initiated the We Will Remember Promise program in 2020 to preserve the memories of those lost in the 2001 crash and another four individuals from the women's basketball team who died in a 2011 crash.
