Preliminary NTSB Report on Fatal LifeFlight Helicopter Crash
New information has been revealed regarding the November 2025 LifeFlight helicopter crash in Wilson County that resulted in one fatality and two serious injuries. According to the preliminary report from the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), the crash occurred at around 1:41 p.m. on November 8, 2025. The flight nurse aboard the helicopter, Allan Williams, tragically lost his life in the crash, while the pilot and flight paramedic sustained serious injuries. Before the crash, the helicopter had departed from its Gallatin base at 1:34 p.m. to respond to a request in Rutherford County, but the mission was subsequently canceled at 1:37 p.m. The NTSB report indicated that the helicopter then turned back towards Gallatin.
